Concept: Beirut for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (BETA) rescues stray and abused dogs then re-homes them. But in 2015, BETA's shelter was full and the Lebanese weren't interested in adopting. And so xpatpets.com was born -  a program that finds Lebanese dogs homes abroad, a timely and satirical move as a significant number of young Lebanese people had been leaving the country to search and build homes abroad too.
